Vijay Kumar Subramanian has a rich experience of 20 plus years in driving Trade, M&A and capital market transactions and has been engaged in several international landmark transactions. Prior to co-founding InVentures, Vijay has served senior positions with the Australian Trade Commission, Reliance Telecom and Dun & Bradstreet.
At the Australian Trade Commission, Vijay’s role included proactively identifying, targeting and working closely with potential corporate investors and corporates in India and South Asia to secure new FDI for Australia and secure government projects. Vijay has engaged in several landmark transactions across Education, Trade and Investment between India and Australia.
At Reliance, Vijay’s role was to evaluate potential acquisition opportunities in South East Asia in the telecom space. The role involved identifying opportunities, due diligence, business plan projections, potential IRR and valuing the company for acquisition.
At Dun & Bradstreet, Vijay’s role involved in building Credit Risk Solutions, Risk Analysis products, Data Bases and related business information services to Corporates, Banks &FIs.
Vijay currently is one of the major shareholder and Research Consultant at a SEBI registered PMS (Portfolio management services) firm with around 250 crores assets (50 Mil AUD) under management.
Vijay has a master’s degree in International Business from the Symbiosis Institute of International Business, Pune and has an Engineering degree from PSG College of Technology.
